Gravity R&D is looking for a DevOps Engineer to support its SaaS personalization system’s operation integrated with complex enterprise IT environments. 

We are looking for a new member to extend our Global Services team serving real-time personalized recommendations to clients in over 20 countries from 7+ data centers: Richmond VA (US east coast), San Francisco CA, Bay Area (US west coast), Amsterdam, Frankfurt (in progress), Budapest, Singapore, Tokyo.

Your responsibilities will be

• Participating in developing a SaaS infrastructure, facing an ever-changing plethora of challenges from both orchestration and scaling point of view. 
• Development of internal tools and services
• Maintaining internal and public-facing environments used by Gravity R&D 
• Disaster recovery and voluntary participation in an on-call schedule
• Back office support 
• Working together with international teams (including vendors) to keep deployed systems up to date

What we are looking for:

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, Operations, or related fields.
• proven Python knowledge 
• Experience with Ansible, experience with AWX/Ansible Tower is a plus
• advanced GNU/Linux administration skills – installation, configuration, debugging, fine-tuning, preferably with Debian/Ubuntu
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies – QEMU/KVM – and understanding of various cloud platforms – Openstack, Apache Cloudstack, Alibaba Cloud, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon AWS
• Good understanding of Docker, and container-based microservice architecture
• Good understanding of networking
• Solid SQL knowledge 
• Working experience with clustered MySQL databases
• Basic knowledge of NoSQL (wide column, key-value)

Skills and personality:

• Excellent English, both written and spoken, Hungarian is an advantage;
